Dads Day. It’s this weekend and regardless of the terrible life lessons that he held back from passing on or the cringy stories that he tells, again and again, he’s probably looking forward to those fresh socks and jocks for the 2017 edition of Father’s Day.
You could do that. Go the classic. Throw in the Sunday paper and make no fuss of the Mother’s Day for Dads… or you could treat the old man to a whole host of lavish experiences.
And (conveniently) we here at QT Museum Wellington know a thing or two about lavish experiences. So when you mash the two together and you get a Father’sn Day gift that he won’t forget… anytime soon (age dependant).
Now to showcase the whole offering for Papa here in Wellington, you’d be in good step to choose the big guys favourite time to eat.
If he’s into starting the day off the right way, the Hippopotamus culinary team will be cooking up the classic Sunday menu, fit for the king that he is.
Or maybe he’s more about lunch, those long ones that span from midday until they become rather hazy after a number of bottles of plonk? Again the Hippopotamus team will be on hand to create the magic.
Then dinner… the last hurrah as they say… Here’s your time to shine. Tell him to get his Monday affairs in order and book him in for a long weekend with us here at QT Museum Wellington! Give him the gift of time away with his numero uno (not the kids) and spoil him rotten with a stay he won’t forget.
You could take advantage of our Romantic Escape package that’s all about that extending the weekend until Tuesday with cocktails. Though if Papi ain’t got all the time on his hands, check out our Dinner and the Show Package to treat him to a little culture.
No matter how you’re spending the day, Happy Father’s Day to all those ‘Dads‘ out there!
