Father and Daughter live in a small town. Father goes to sell his clocks in a far off town. On his way home he get’s lost and stumbles upon a castle that time forgot. Owned by a beast, he’s thrown into jail, until his daughter grows worried and sets out to find him…

That’s it, that’s all I’m going to spill…

Okay, one last piece, Ewan McGregor can pull off a French accent better than Jacques Cousteau, you and I. It’s quite the standout. Along with the dress and I guess the story, – Welcome the Live Disney remake of Beauty and the Beast.

You’ve most likely heard the hype and coming from someone who has seen the newly released masterpiece, let me tell you, it lives up to it all.

In celebration of the movie’s release, coupled with your love of fine food in exceptional surrounds, we would like to invite you to dine at Hippopotamus before you take the 500m walk to The Embassy Theatre for the showing of this rereleased classic.

Our culinary conjurers have crafted an early evening menu that will compliment your night time experience of enchantment and fairytale. Starting with a choice of entrée, the signature dish of Mon Sashimi tempts many, though the freshly shucked local oysters are equally enticing. The main course sees the choice between Le Poisson Du Jour (Market Fish), Poulet Crème Et Morilles or the delicious Jardin Printanier, a showcase of the finest produce from the surrounds.

Much like the tale as old as time, I might hold off on letting slip the dessert menu here, I’m not an animal and the temptation is best built.
