Sleeping Beauty High Tea

Once upon an afternoon, in a QT not so far away, there was a Sleeping Beauty High Tea so decadent the princess finally had something worth waking for.

In partnership with the Royal New Zealand Ballet, The Sleeping Beauty is leaving the stage and taking a seat at the table. Expect three tiers dressed for the occasion, with delicate savouries, fanciful pâtisserie and sweets almost too pretty to disturb. Almost.

Take your seat above Wellington’s harbour, let a glass of bubbles start proceedings and sip tea from pots that never seem to empty. There’s no prescribed order here. Savoury then sweet? Absolutely. Dessert first? Encouraged. A hundred-year nap afterwards? Understandable.

Prefer your fairytales with a little more fizz? Give the afternoon the royal treatment with two hours of bottomless bubbles.
