What inspired you to make this drink?
The Butterfly Pea G&T was born from the desire to infuse unexpected magic into our guests’ experiences. We wanted to breathe new life into the classic G&T, adding a touch of flair that would surprise and delight.
Do you see a trend in the drinks market at the moment?
Absolutely. The drinks market is abuzz with vibrant colours and engaging service rituals. It’s about enhancing the classics with unique twists that catch the eye and excite the palate.
What do you love most about working with Four Pillars Gin?
Working alongside Four Pillars is a privilege. They represent the essence of Australian gin-making with their exceptional quality. Our tradition of collaborating on a QT x FP Gin each year exemplifies our shared commitment to creating something uniquely wonderful.
What is your go-to drink on a night out?
A Negroni. It’s a timeless classic that evolves with every venue, offering boldness, bitterness, complexity, and above all, deliciousness.
Elevate Your Spring: Crafting the Butterfly Pea G&T
- 30ml Four Pillars Rare Dry Gin infused with Butterfly Pea Flowers
- 90ml Strangelove Tonic
- 10ml St Germain Elderflower Liqueur
- Soak a teaspoon of butterfly pea flowers in Four Pillars Rare Dry Gin for 30 minutes.
- In a highball glass, add 10ml of St Germain Elderflower Liqueur and 90ml of Strangelove Tonic.
- Gently float 30ml of butterfly pea-infused Four Pillars Gin over a large ice spear.
