TWIN LAKES AT SMITH’S

Don’t get us wrong, not everything we love is brash and bold. In fact, one of our favourite things to do is to sit back with good music and a decent wine and have a proper grown up night. Maybe you would like to join us? Well, if you do, come down to the Smiths Alternative Book Store this coming Sunday, April 5 and see the incredibly talented Twin Lakes perform live at one of the best and intimate venues that Canberra has to offer.

Originating from the shores of Newcastle, Twin Lakes are a dreamy ensemble producing some truly emotive tunes. Since forming in 2012, they have giving people the electronic feels all over the country with their melodic dips and highs. If we had to describe their sound it would be a mixture of Morrisey’s heartbreaking vocals played over an upbeat Depeche Mode. You know you love it.

This is a great opportunity to support some seriously talented local music at a top venue before they become so huge that they’re booking out sports fields and the best view you get is a pixelated big screen.
