Have you heard the news? Lucky’s Canberra will be soon releasing new cocktails! Our Lucky’s Canberra cocktail extraordinaire has been locked in the liquor laboratory over the last few weeks and has been experimenting with all sorts of spirits and mixers. What will the new additions contain? Pisco? Triple sec? Spiced rum perhaps? Stay tuned to find out.
Before the new creations are unveiled, we thought we’d give you the recipe to one of the beauties that will be taken off the menu (for now), to make room for the newbies:
Perfect Bubbles
We take the classic French ‘75’, add a seasonal flavour (rhubarb or nectarine) and Strawberry French aperitif, then it’s garnished with a chocolate covered strawberry. This stylish little champagne creation is the Cara Delevingne of the cocktail world.
Ingredients:
- 20ml Bombay Sapphire Gin
- 20ml Dolin Chamberyzette Strawberry Aperitif
- 20ml Seasonal Shrub(Either Rhubarb or Nectarine)
- Sparkling wine
- Chocolate covered strawberry
Method:
- Chill gin, aperitif and shrub
- Strain into a champagne flute topped with sparkling wine
- Garnish with a half sliced chocolate covered strawberry
