Find yourself in the heart of the extraordinary. Here’s your first look inside the highly-anticipated QT Auckland.
With its doors set to open later this year, this new Auckland hotel is a waterfront playground unlike anything the City of Sails has ever seen before. If this sneak peek doesn’t make you want to be one of the first guests to stay and play in this delightfully quirky scene, we don’t know what will. Lucky for you, you can book a stay from 1 November to drift away in a QT dream bed.
So, what’s QT Auckland all about?
It’s all about shoreline shimmer. Welcome to your time to shine. More than just a hotel, in the heart of the CBD’s Viaduct Harbour lies an oasis for you to experience an immersive, transformative escape.
As the third QT hotel in New Zealand, the Auckland edition is a distinctive addition to the much-loved Wellington and Queenstown properties. With common threads of design-led wonder, each QT is a character in their own right. QT Auckland is no exception, designed with the natural, wild beauty of the city’s surrounding landscape in mind.
Harnessing the idea that beauty lies within, the theme of discovery is a central narrative throughout your experience. Long-time QT collaborator Nic Graham is behind this contemporary yet timeless design, drawing inspiration from the oyster and oyster trawler for a visual feast.
Keep your eyes peeled for the oyster’s influence, the rough and raw of the shell’s outside mixed with the smooth, clean lines of the inside. For even more contrast, New Zealand’s natural hues mingle with bold block colours. Think exposed concrete, brass accents, plush rugs and sassy furniture to complete the look.
Beyond the luxurious rooms, a signature restaurant by Sean Connolly, a rooftop bars with Viaduct views, and plenty of local art around every corner are begging to be discovered.
We can’t wait for you to see QT Auckland in all its luxurious glamour. The waterfront beckons, and as soon as our doors open, you’re cordially invited discover what beauty lies within.
Book in to immerse yourself in Auckland’s new hub of quirky luxury.
