This January and February, Bazaar Restaurant is bringing an Asian street-food inspired market to Queenstown – Feast of the East.
Every Friday and Saturday night, our chefs will be preparing a feast overflowing with the flavours of Tokyo’s izakaya alleyways and the colours of Bangkok’s night markets.
You’ll have the opportunity to chat with the chefs as they prepare delicacies right before your eyes. Think live sushi-rolling, wok tossing, and robata grilling.
Complete with a raw bar, fresh seafood and salads, baos, skewers, curries and more, this is a mouth-watering menu that you won’t want to miss. Some standout items that the chefs can’t wait for you to try include:
- Tuna tartare with ginger, ponzu and nori salt
- Seafood dumpling soup
- Red Thai duck curry with lychee and kaffir lime
- Char siu pork ribs
- Aged sirloin with mushroom soy butter and gochugaru
We recommend taking it slow and steady. Start from light and fresh, and move to hot and sizzling. Get your chopsticks ready, it’s going to get steamy.
