QT Sydney’s iconic bar and dining destination, Gowings, drops four limited edition cocktails, bringing to life the Vivid Sydney experience.
Back for its 13th year, Vivid Sydney will explode into the Sydney scene from May 26 until June 17 2023. Gowings invites guests to experience an extension of Vivid Food, which is launching for the first year as part of the award-winning festival. Each late-night libation plays upon the senses at $22 each, and is available for the duration of Vivid Sydney.
Designed to evoke the inner scientist, the Mai Mai, is adaptly presented in three individual glass test tubes. Play elixir mixer with lemongrass infused vodka, ginger, butterfly pea and citrus, and create a colour-changing sensation, evolving from a deep-ocean blue to regal purple.
Blue Eyes takes the chill of the night to luxe levels. Served in a glass made of solid ice, Bulldog Gin, vanilla kumquat syrup, blue curacao, caper brine, citrus, and smoky orange bitters are muddled and poured over Bare Bones Ice. A dusting of caper berry, flower and chilli powder bring a punch to each delicately sweet and salty sip.
My Pink Lady is brings a bright sparkle to the eyes. A flutter of the brightest blue spirulina, SKYY Vodka, fresh lemon, orgeat, pineapple, cranberry and sage creates a colour palette as bright as its inspiration, the eve of the Emerald City.
Equal parts fragrant, tart and sweet, Rosearita offers a floral pirouette of Espolon blanca tequila, rose, lime and Crème de Violette. A fresh red, rose petal romantically adorns the creamy cocktail.
No stranger to memorable mixology, Gowings offers the old-cool swagger of a New York steakhouse with the freshest flavours of Little Italy. Loved by locals, Gowings is the meeting place for downtown denizens and discerning diners.
