QT Hotels & Resorts unite to celebrate Sydney WorldPride 2023

QT Hotels & Resorts rolls out the rainbow carpet this Sydney WorldPride and Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, providing both guests and artists with a space that embraces love and evokes the extraordinary. From 17 February until 5 March, QT Sydney and QT Bondi guests will be served signature unexpected and unrequested experiences as Sydney WorldPride hits the southern hemisphere for the first time.

Carpool Dragaoke Friday and Saturday, 17 February until 4 March at QT Sydney & QT Bondi

Glide throughout Sydney WorldPride with QT Hotels & Resorts‘ Carpool Dragaoke. Celebrating every love and painting the city every colour of the rainbow, Carpool Dragaoke is an exclusive, complimentary service for guests of QT Sydney and QT Bondi. With the option to shashay away, to or from either hotel or go for a 10-minute spin to a desired destination, the wheels are in motion for one helluva ride.

Guests are invited to grab their backseat besties and hop into a retro convertible for a karaoke-style sing-a-long with a QT Drag Queen, including the incredible Anita Wiglit.

In keeping with James Corden’s brain-child of shining the light on the spectacle of the passenger seats, this ride is kitted out to record and replay. Guests will be able to catch the playbacks weekly on the QT Bondi and QT Sydney Instagram.

QTea Goes Drag Saturday and Sunday, 18 February until 5 March at QT Sydney

The sweet assassin and master pâtissier, Adriano Zumbo, is bringing glamour, gossip and glitter with QTea Goes Drag. Tantalising treats have been designed exclusively for Sydney WorldPride, such as the Gay Bay, a mouth-watering mousse made with strawberry and guava jam, vanilla, mascarpone and almond rocher glaze. The afternoon will be full of delight with an Aperol Spritz on arrival, resident DJ and larger-than-life QT Drag Queens including Etcetera Etcetera.

Exclusive Cocktail – Pride in the City Friday and Saturday, 7pm – 9pm, 17 February until 4 March at QT Sydney

For an evening tipple to tempt, Gowings together with partners SKYY Vodka will be serving the cocktail of the season, Pride and the City. The cocktail will be served tableside by a Gowings Bartender alongside a QT Drag Queen dishing a tonne of theatrics Bringing together the infectious energy of Pride with the Sex and the City style queens of the 90’s, Pride in the City is a cosmopolitan with a signature QT twist. SKYY Vodka, zesty fresh lemon, Orgeat, cranberry syrup, pineapple juice and sage are shaken together to create a fashionably floral flavour, with just a touch of bitterness.

Guests will be treated to pitch perfect Sydney WorldPride experience with a bespoke playlist curated by QT’s Music Collaborator, Andrew Lewis. ‘Played on Q’ is popping with Pride anthems by icons Cher, Kylie Minogue and David Guetta, and provides guest with the saucy soundscape for their in-room death-drop practice, or for perfecting a pout and highlighter application.
