You’re feeling a little dusty from a weekend well spent, the sun is still high in the afternoon sky and you get that message from a friend, requesting your presence for a couple of quiet beverages to regroup and get ready for the week ahead. It seems civil enough, now you just need a place where you can relax and get into some good conversation.
Here’s a little wrap-up of the best spots around the Bondi Bubble to hook into a couple of cold ones these coming summer Sundays.
It’s a classic Bondi institution. Just down Beach road, about two blocks back from the sandy shore, you’ll find the biggest venue in Bondi. The food on offer is outstanding if you’re chasing juicy burger. Team that up with some jugs in the Beer Garden out the back and you have a match made in heaven.
The top choice to check out some of Bondi’s most beautiful humans. Get down early to secure you and your entourage a solid spot. The Bucket list is set within the Bondi Pavilion, nice and close to the beach. Keep an eye on the south corner of the beach for the local groms tearing it up. This place makes you feel the need to order a bucket of Coronas and watch the colours of the sky change.
If you are looking for a little height in your Sunday afternoon views, the balcony at Ravesis gives you a sweet view over Bondi to the north. The cocktails here range from brilliant to dangerous. Be careful, it’s Monday tomorrow, pace yourself tiger.
North Bondi RSL
If you have just spent the whole day on the North Bondi Grassy Noll, take the steps to your right and head up the stairs to level 1 and you’ll find yourself in the warm embrace of the North Bondi RSL. Cheap food, cheaper drinks and a view that overlooking the whole damn beach. This place is always a solid choice for a casual catch up that requires nothing more than the necessities.
See you Sunday!
