For anyone who has stayed with us here at QT Bondi, you’ll know we are a little different to our QT siblings. We don’t supply food and beverage in the hotel… The first reaction from most is usually something along the lines of ‘Why the hell not? All of the other QT’s have great restaurants and bars’”.
It’s true, we do have good taste BUT Bondi is such a tight knit community with so many amazing cafés’s, restaurants & bars – why would we need our own? Or even want our own? Why not take an awesome hotel, plonk it right on the beach in a position that is surrounded by the finest boutique shopping, delicious café’s & restaurants and trendy bars and make the guest experience all about local Bondi living? So that’s exactly what we did!
Before opening last December, we had an awesome team who put in a lot of hours immersing themselves in the Bondi lifestyle so we could offer the best of Bondi to our guests. There are a few different platforms we use to share this with our guests, our future guests and anyone who just loves what QT is all about – Facebook, Instagram, QT Life and the QT Bondi Concierge App are what keeps me busy most of my days.
Today, I want to talk about my little friend ‘The QT Bondi Concierge App’.
Specially designed for our in-house guests so they are able to navigate Bondi like a true local. Organised into 6 different categories – Eat & Drink, Fit & Glam, Hit the Shops, Come & Play, Getting Around and About the Hotel.
Each category has a ‘Concierge Insider Tip’ tab which will give you a guide to what is really shining above the rest at that point in time.
Here are some of our Concierge Insider Tips at the moment:
Brekky & Brunch: Lox Stock & Barrell, Porch & Parlour, Bills and Speedos.
Lunch: Iceberg’s Dining Room & Bar, Raw Bar and North Bondi Fish.
Dinner: China Diner, Da Orazio and Brown Sugar.
Drinks: The Bucket List, The House of Luis Tans, Bondi Hardware and Neighbourhood.
Hairdressers: Koda Cutters
Fitness Centres: Speedo Fitness Club
Yoga Studios: Power Living Bondi Beach
The App isn’t just available to our in-house guests but to anyone coming to Bondi that isn’t familiar with the area. Just head to your app store and download the QT Hotels and Resorts App, click on the QT Bondi tab and live life like a local!
