If you’re looking to start the weekend a little bit early, you’re naughty… and you’re in luck. We’ve got a few midweek cocktail options to swing your way, so keep on reading to find the place for you to wet your whistle.
The Anchor
Booze ahoy! This south Bondi watering hole is your nautical treasure in the rough. Enjoy a steak and crispy kingfish wings with your gin and fresh watermelon juice or their speciality, Tommy’s Margarita. This is one place you’ll want to snap on Instagram and let your fellow pirates know about.
Stuffed Beaver
This bar is truly a sight to behold for the sports lover in us all. You’ll want to grab the infamous hot wings to enjoy with your craft beer, or perhaps a serving of poutine – a delicious carb-laden Canadian delicacy of hot chips, gravy and cheese. If you like your sport loud, food servings big and drinks list long, the Stuffed Beaver is what you’ve been looking for.
The Bucket List
This venue is a Bondi institution; you can’t beat having a drink with the ocean practically at your feet! All you have to do is grab a jug of Pimms and bucket of fresh prawns or the chipotle fish tacos to feel right at home. The Bucket List is one you definitely won’t regret ticking off of yours.
Neighbourhood
With the selection of bars in Bondi, you cannot afford to miss out on Neighbourhood – these guys have put a lot of thought into what food you should be eating while you drink. A cheeseburger jaffle with your Dark and Stormy – how does that not sound amazing? Between the high end cocktail bars and more low key pubs, make this place your pick for a relaxed night out, although definitely call ahead and book if you’re rocking up with a bigger crew.
And if you feel like trying something different…
The Coogee Pavilion
This welcome addition to the Coogee landscape is a child of Merivale and will meet whatever social situation you find yourself in. Family dinner, impressing a first date or a catch up with friends, look no further. Set literally right on Coogee beach, you can gorge yourself on wood fire pizza, oysters and sashimi, and take your drinks up to the rooftop to enjoy the sunset.
