Come #TasteBondi with QT and Messina!

To celebrate the opening of QT Bondi we recently hollered at gelato lords, Messina, with a taste challenge. We wanted the essence of Bondi whipped into a single bespoke flavour… because if anyone can do it, it’s them. They are flavour wizards.

The result? A refreshing and delicious Bondi postcode inspired coconut & quinoa sorbet, titled ‘2026’, featuring roasted coconut and rice milk sorbet, Messina trail mix, quinoa choc block and yoghurt gel. The flavour captures the healthy and decadent side of the beach bronzed, fit conscious and hedonistic vibes that make Bondi what it is… And we’re gonna give it away for free.

“We’ve experimented with some of the synonymous Bondi ingredients we could think of like quinoa and chia seed, combined them with a roasted coconut sorbet which give the base a lighter texture and smashed them into a Messina flavour. We’re big into treating our guests… So we’ve decided that each QT Bondi guest will be offered a complimentary serve of “2026”, as a welcome gift throughout the month of January.

Beyond the hotel, Bondi locals and visitors alike can also enjoy the bespoke sorbet. QT Bondi will be sharing the ‘2026’ flavour love at a series of tastings scheduled on Saturday 16, Sunday 17, Sunday 24 and Tuesday 26 (Australia Day) of January 2016.

The complimentary sorbet service will be delivered in the QT Bondi custom-made ice cream Kombi… rumour has it the Kombi will be dropping into Bondi Markets and then Bucket List between 10am and 4pm – Follow our social channels closely to find out more!
