Creative Way Workshops

There are two types of people in this world. The creative types – everything they touch seems to end up looking like it came straight out of a magazine and the not so creative types – a stick figure drawing is probably as far as their creativity goes.

But you don’t have to be on-trend to be creative – some of my favourite artists and interior decorators are completely “off-trend”. They have their own vision and it has nothing to do with the top 5 hipster plants or the colour palette in vogue at the time.

What the non-creatives don’t realise is that every individual has something inside them that makes them creative, some obviously buried a lot deeper than others and some have absolutely no desire to try and dig it out. But there are many people out there that wish they could just tap into this streak and I may have found the answer.

Enter Melissa – artist, teacher, maker and adventurer Melissa Carey has just the right place for you to start; a platform to help you find your hidden creativity.

Melissa’s work has been featured at many big name festivals and exhibitions such as Blues N’ Roots Fest, Day of the Dead Fest, Beams Festival 2014 & 2015, Berlin Art Residency & Solo Exhibition and Material Pleasure Art Exhibition, just to name a few.

She is now using her rad skills to help others find their inner creativity through a number of workshops and they are held in our very own Eastern Suburbs.

What makes Melissa’s workshops stand out from a lot of other art classes you will find is there is such a wide range of artistic avenues she covers so you have the freedom to find what suits you best, not everything will work for you but there is only one way to find out.
