What’s a girl to do when she finds herself stuck in purgatory between morning coffee time and first-cocktail-o’clock? You’re still a bit crispy from yesterday’s Bondi Beach bronzing and you already shred (suck?) at surfing… Don’t despair, this time can be put to good use. It’s time for therapy. Retail, workout and adventure therapy.
Retail Therapy
Tuchuzy is your one stop shop for all things designer. Bringing indulgence to the beach, head inside and have a chat to the gorgeous staff while browsing through Alexander Wang, Rag & Bone and Helmut Lang. Don’t be shy! Speak to the stylists, they know their stuff. Who knew you could pull off runway tailored striped pants by Alexander Wang paired with a Rag and Bone greer army pullover?
A bikini a day keeps the doctor away, especially at Bondi. If a fresh cozzie is what you’re after (you’ve got plenty of options), head to Bondi Bather. The local ladies that run this shop are experts in looking your best at the beach. All their bikinis are designed and made in Australia and have a UV rating of 50+ to protect that gorgeous skin of yours. Don’t forget to check out the skimpily amazing ‘Australian Cut’ bikini. Sexy.

The Bondi to Bronte walk is iconic and for very good reason. You can easily spend a couple of hours lazily strolling along the popular path, gazing upon the deep blue, watching the waves crash against the rocky cliffs and eyeing the beautiful beaches… or you can smash it in under an hour if your that way inclined and want to feel the burn. You’ve gotta snap a few Insty shots on the way too, it’d be rude not to!
If you’d prefer to stay put and get sweaty, head up to North Bondi and take in the view while you’re at the Street Workout Park. Whether you need pull up bars, low bars, abs benches or the double parallel bar, they’ve got you covered. The guys from Bondi Bar Brutes also favour this location so you could be witness to an epic pull up contest too.

The Bondi Markets is the must-go for your weekend. A lot of designers have come up through the ranks at Bondi Markets – Sass & Bide girls holla! – so keep an eye out for the next big thing.
At the markets you’ll find everything from candles to kaftans, coconuts and crafts. Do yourself a favour and spend a good couple hours there to discover clothes, food and bric a-brac you would’ve otherwise never known about.
