The Australian Open of Golf

Ahh, golf… there’s no other sport like it! Get a bunch of guys and girls, give them a few metal sticks and a tiny ball and tell them to hit it into a small hole hundreds of metres away.
It’s an enduring test of one’s physical and mental capability and not everyone has the patience for it.
Though there’s not too much more satisfying than belting a solid drive down the fairway and sinking that championship putt.
Even better, you can cut out all the lost balls and 3-putt finishes and take the back seat with a few beers in hand and watch some world’s best put on a true exhibition of skill, expertise and class on the course!
This weekend, the Royal Sydney Golf Club, in Bondi’s beautiful neighbouring suburb of Rose Bay, will be hosting the 101st Australian Open of Golf.
The Australian Open is the oldest and most prestigious golf tournament on the PGA tour of Australasia and attracts the best golfers from around the world as well as some hot local talent to battle it out for the most esteemed trophy in Australian golf.
The Royal Sydney Golf Club is considered one of the most exclusive golf clubs in the country and will play host to the tournament for the 15th time with the picturesque championship course less than a 10-minute drive from QT Bondi!
The action will be kicking off on November 17, with the climax on Sunday, where the man that can hold his nerve the strongest will take home the prize.
