May we propose a toast… To immaculate shaves, dapper style, fine Scottish whiskey and the power of facial hair to change the face of men’s health forever.

This November QT Sydney will be raising funds and raising the profile of men’s health through a partnership with fellow Australian charity – Beard Season and through the launch of The Barber Shop’s Movember fundraising initiatives.

Mo Bros will be invited to enjoy a ‘QT Shave –Tidy-Shave’ package, including a shave down at the start of the month and a shave down at the end with a moustache trim and tidy mid-way through. Valued at $120, ‘Mo Bros’ participating in Movember will pay just $100 and QT will donate $25 of the tidy total to Movember.

Gents who may not be ‘Mo-ing’ this month can still shave for the cause with the Barbers of QT donating $10 from every shave from 1 – 30 November to the cause, which is nothing to sniffed at. Any extra contribution will be dutifully distributed.

While on the theme of the hirsute for health, The Barbers of QT are thrilled launch their partnership with Beard Season – a movement turning beards into life-saving icons in the fight against melanoma. Challenging those most at risk (men aged 18-45) to book a skincheck with their skin specialist or dermatologist. To spread the word, the QT Barbershops will stock a limited run of Beard Season Playing Cards. These deluxe playing cards (codenamed #Project60) are the brainchild of iconic photograph Mr Elbank and feature some of the greatest beards in the world.  A must for any aficionado of style with substance.

QT Sydney’s Parlour Lane Roasters which is located alongside the hotel’s entrance is getting into the spirit of the month by developing a moustache-inspired FUNdraising cocktail.  $4 from the proceeds of all ‘Parlour Lane MO’jitos’ which come complete with a moustache straw will be donated to Movember.  Stick on moustaches will also be available for a gold coin Movember donation.
