Indulge in the art of spritzing at Rooftop at QT, as QT Newcastle presents Summer of Spritz, in collaboration with Aperol. The designer hotel has been transformed into a haven for spritz enthusiasts, with Newcastle’s premier rooftop offering the ultimate scene for summer sessions and an all-encompassing spritz affair. Available daily, a curated spritz selection features Aperol Spritz, Campari Spritz, SKYY Spritz, and non-alcoholic Crodino Spritz. Bar bites have been expertly crafted by QT Executive Chef Shayne Mansfield, where signature dishes include; confit duck hotdog with brioche bun, Campari jam, pickles and comte cheese, alongside the mother fungus mushroom tart with parmesan custard, porcini soil and shitake marmalade. The menu also includes Jana restaurant’s fish wing with chilli tamarind and spiced peanuts.
Rooftop at QT will continue to transcend the ordinary with the appointment of Venue Manager, Dave Watkins. A local Novocastrian with over a decade of experience including managing the speakeasy cocktail bar Coal & Cedar, Watkins is set to add a new dimension to the Rooftop at QT experience. Expressing his excitement, Dave said, “The QT brand has an incredible reputation, not only in Newcastle but in the national bar industry. I’m excited to bring my expertise to the Rooftop at QT, infusing the personal touch and service of an intimate bar into the rooftop’s vibrant atmosphere.”
Teamed with skyline views of Newcastle’s scenic harbour as the backdrop, and on Sundays a heavy rotation of Newcastle’s best DJs seducing you into the summer sunset, guests have the perfect ingredients for a summer spritz session they’ll never forget.
