QT’s Pup Yeah! stays now come with a plus-one dessert – a dot cake for you, and a dog cake for your best friend, for one week only from International Dog Day August 26.

Kennel? Paw-lease. QT Hotels & Resorts is following through on its promise to pampered pooches everywhere, adding a dog-sized dot cake to its dog-friendly Pup Yeah! stays in celebration of International Dog Day on August 26.

This year, in-room dining gets a plus-one. Guests checking in to a Pup Yeah! stay between 26–31 August 2026 will receive two complimentary dot cakes: one for them, and one dog-sized version, sprinkles included – for the guest who checked in on four legs and has been side-eyeing their plate all trip.

Bringing the dot cake trends to a dog cake first, served up in QT’s signature black-and-white striped cups, each pup-sized dot cake is baked by dog-bakery Woof Gateaux using dog-safe, sugar-free trimmings, because a QT welcome should never leave anyone out, four legs or two.

“We know we’re late to the trend,” said QT Hotels & Resorts. “But dogs don’t do trending. They do timing, and it’s always cake o’clock. Consider it dessert diplomacy, everyone gets a piece.”

The dot cake drop builds on Pup Yeah!, QT’s dog-friendly stay for pampered pooches of any size. Every pet-appointed room is prepped for belly rubs and butler service, with the QT team partnering with a pack of premium pup brands to deliver the very best.

New Zealand’s botanical grooming label, smith&burton, features in each stay with a duo of essentials perfect for pooch – smith&burton Soothing Cologne and smith&burton Waterless Foam Shampoo.

When hunger hits beyond dessert, the room is also stocked with hand-baked, human-grade treats from Australian luxury pet brand St Argo. And for the ultimate indulgence, in-room dining dishes include tail-waggers of Steak Tartare and Bacon Ice Cream. Down boy!

To ensure sweet doggy dreams, each Pup Yeah! room is fitted with a CUB bed, featuring orthopedic memory foam for maximum snoozing comfort.
