Designer hotel QT Sydney has been voted the best hotel on Australia’s East Coast and ranked 2 overall in Australia and New Zealand in the 2017 Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards.

More than 300,000 readers submitted millions of ratings and tens of thousands of comments, sharing their recent travel experiences of the world’s cities, islands, hotels, resorts, cruise liners, airlines, and airports – good and bad – and QT Sydney is delighted to have been recognised for their panache in delivering consistent first-class hospitality, leading the field in its home city.

This most recent accolade comes only  4 months after QT Sydney was also named “Best City Hotel, Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific” in the Travel+Leisure World’s Best Awards 2017 readers’ survey.

Balancing modern design and heritage features, the hotel’s 200 contemporary appointed guest rooms and suites provide an intimate and luxurious accommodation experience that is clearly recognised on a global scale.

This is complemented by a host of unique venues within the hotel that embody contemporary design and exude sophistication, from a dining experience in the acclaimed Gowings Bar & Grill to private meetings, chic cocktail events, treatments in the awarded spaQ and private screenings in the QT Screening Room.

“We are honoured to be awarded this highly esteemed accolade by the readers of one of the most reputable travel publications in the world,” said Rhys Jones, General Manager of QT Sydney. “We never take these awards for granted and it is a humbling experience to know we are thought of so highly among the globe’s most discerning travellers!”

The award is testimony to QT Sydney’s commitment to excellence, individuality and world-class design.

All the winners will be celebrated in the November issue of Condé Nast Traveler as well as online at on 17 October 2017.
