QT Hotels & Resorts Celebrate Wins in Australia’s Wine List of The Year Awards 2021

Design-led hotel collection, QT Hotels & Resorts, has proven it has the gift of the glass. The group’s signature restaurants and bars, have been awarded significant wins in the annual Australia’s Wine List of the Year Awards.

QT Sydney’s signature restaurant Gowings Bar & Grill and QT Perth’s Santini Bar & Grill have earned the highest rating of three glasses for restaurants in Australia, the third consecutive year Gowings Bar & Grill has received this honour. QT Sydney’s Parlour Cucina and QT Canberra’s Capitol Bar & Grill were also recognised with two glasses for the second consecutive year. This year, Yamagen at QT Gold Coast joins the celebrations and has received two glasses by the highly regarded awards program.

QT Hotels & Resorts’ continue to cement themselves as industry leaders when it comes to their group wine program and the success of their signature restaurants and bars.

Established in 1994, the Australia’s Wine List of the Year Awards recognises and rewards wine lists that elevate dining experiences. The judging panel is comprised of over 30 industry professionals, wine communicators, sommeliers, winemakers, Master Sommeliers and Masters of Wine. These experts score based on content, balance, suitability to venue, presentation and pricing. The awards pay tribute to the dedication and talent of sommeliers and is considered the highest accolade for wine lists across Australia’s best venues.

When it comes to stately status, QT Perth’s Santini Bar & Grill (WA) and QT Canberra’s Capitol Bar & Grill (ACT) have been celebrated as national finalists for the best selection of local wines in their respective states. QT’s commitment to supporting local winemakers is at the forefront of their wine program, with the collection home to a portfolio of award-winning venues; all in which exceed their reputation as unmissable dining destinations in the cities they call ‘home’.
