QT Canberra hits the global stage with a stellar cast

QT Canberra has done it again! The eclectic designer hotel continues to shine during this current awards season. Since launching in April 2014, QT Canberra have received numerous National awards for their food and beverage offerings, service, style and design and now in the running for “Best Urban Hotel 2014” presented by a global authority on design, Wallpaper* Magazine.

Wallpaper* aims to provoke creativity and debate among the design conscious and is a must-read for anyone with an eye for style and luxury.

The hotel is accompanies a stellar line-up of other renowned hotels brands which are in the running of this sought after award – Thompson, Chicago, US, Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles, US and Rosewood, London UK.

‘We believe that this year’s finalists for the Best Urban Hotels sash are anything but cookie cutter,’ said Wallpaper Magazine. ‘Instead they come from a new generation of hotels – self-contained lifestyle hives that represent significant shifts in design and service styles, the entire better to create more unique stay experiences that are relevant to the location.’

Given QT Canberra’s focus on art and design this acknowledgment represents the creative work of the hotels key collaborators which includes renowned QT Hotels & Resorts designer Nic Graham, Creative Food Director for QT Hotels, Rob Marchetti and Melbourne-based stylist Anna Roberts.

The winner will be announced in their December issue.
