New Mediums Reign Supreme at QT Sydney

Digital art and new mediums will reign supreme at the much-anticipated hip design hotel,
QT Sydney. Renowned specialist art curator, Amanda Love has been working with the
hotel designers to give guests of the hotel a cutting edge visionary feast of light, form
and contemporary features both in the public spaces, access points and throughout
guest accommodation suites.

Love will be a permanent fixture of the creative collaborators as Art Curator and will
source the best, most intriguing and challenging contemporary art from all over the world
while managing the upkeep of the hotel’s eclectic art collection.

Voted Best Art Advisor 2010 in Sydney’s Art Month Awards and a board member of
Australia’s largest contemporary art event, Biennale of Sydney, Love is thrilled to be
appointed to the unique position.

“It’s an absolute honour to be working with such a creative and talented team to bring
Sydney a fresh and unique approach to accommodation and leisure. Guests will not only
look at the art but be involved in it as they interact with the different forms,” said Love.

QT Sydney will also launch a Public Area Art Collection where guests and the general
public are welcome to explore. Opening on 17th September 2012, QT Sydney is the only
Sydney hotel to be a member of the exclusive global hotel group Design Hotels.
