Let the Chaos Begin: QT Hotels and Four Pillars Release Exclusive Collaboration

In a partnership that brings together the world’s most loved gin, and Australia’s most loved designer hotel brand, Ordered Chaos Gin celebrates what happens when you check out of the ordinary and into QT.

Worlds have collided and flavours converged as QT Hotels have teamed up with the Yarra Valley’s Four Pillars to create a limited edition gin, exclusive to QT’s designer hotels. QT Hotels will be pouring the exclusive new collaboration Ordered Chaos Gin at their award-winning bars across Australia with a limited number of bottles also available for purchase.

QT’s first ever branded gin has been artfully created by Four Pillar’s team of distilling experts. Then blended beautifully alongside Four Pillars signature botanicals by QT Hotels and Resorts’ best bartenders. A gin with attitude, the result is a sensational drink and experience to excite.

In making this gin, Four Pillars started with gentle aromas of spice and citrus, before the QT team injected a colourful combination of fresh coconut milk, raw almonds and bamboo leaves – a chaotic mix inspired by QT Life. The coconut and almond play an intriguing game on the palate, taking turns to come to the fore, with refreshing bamboo taking the final bow.

The trio behind Four Pillars, Cameron MacKenzie, Matt Jones and Stuart Gregor, are regular guests of QT Hotels and drew upon the unique locations, quirky interiors and artistic motifs of each property as inspiration for the Ordered Chaos bottle design – a label featuring multi-dimensional swirling text and a pop of QT’s signature magenta.

To celebrate the collaboration gin, QT’s mixology masters have layered the spirit with homemade infusions, syrups and tinctures that pack a playful punch. Room Service Rickey showcases the Ordered Chaos Gin in a highly aromatic, botanical, bitter and bubbly concoction that packs a punch. The QT Colada Fizz on the other hand is textural and creamy, highlighting both the coconut and the gin’s slightly nutty and grassy notes. Bamboo is another super-simple refresher on the menu, a stirred down drink martini variation; light, crisp and a hint of coconut.

The partnership will also see QT Hotels and Four Pillars hosting all-inclusive, multi-sensory events with masterclasses and tastings for visiting connoisseurs and locals alike. Whether guests want to jump behind the bar and learn how to shake a cocktail, or expand their gin knowledge – QT Hotel’s gin experts will lead guests through comprehensive tastings and educational masterclasses of the vibrant gin, with a side of chaos.
