QT Sydney’s signature restaurant and buzzing city locale, Gowings, has received One Hat at the Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide 2023 Awards. The prestigious awards event returned for the first time in three years, recognising the very best in the industry in New South Wales.
Since reopening in March this year with Food & Beverage Creative Director Sean Connolly at the helm, Gowings has reemerged as a staple in the Sydney dining scene. Dripping in old-school swagger, Gowings is a New York steakhouse serving the best of the season with the fresh, bold flavours of Little Italy.
“I’m thrilled and over the moon for the Gowings team. I’m super proud of each and every one of them.” says Connolly.
Elegant yet unpretentious cuisine is matched with an award-winning wine program curated by QT Beverage Director Chris Morrison, and is served with a dose of punk and tonne of theatrics, synonymous with Connolly’s name.
Situated in the landmark hotel, QT Sydney, Gowings is loved by locals and hotel guests alike. With a high-fashion artwork collection curated by Blender Gallery lining the heritage-listed walls and punk playlist, the vibrant dining room is full of theatrical flair.
Gowings is open Tuesday to Friday for lunch, and Monday to Saturday for dinner.
