QT Canberra’s Capitol Bar & Grill has taken the top spot at the Restaurant & Catering ACT Awards for Excellence 2022, winning the award for ‘Best Restaurant in a Hotel or Resort’. Loved by locals and hotel guests alike, this accolade further cements Capitol as a premiere dining destination in the capital.
The dynamic team leading the charge are Executive Chef Michael Box, and Chef de Cuisine Mel Hobby.

A carefully curated wine list compliments this ethos of local provenance. Developed by QT Hotel & Resorts’ Director of Beverage Chris Morrison and QT Canberra’s Director of Food and Beverage Desiree Saavedra, the wine list highlights icons, emerging producers and new grape varieties. Of course, with a focus on the wines of the Canberra District and Southern New South Wales.
