The cooler months are well and truly upon us, so expect to see your favourite comfort foods revived this month at Capitol Bar and Grill.
‘Tis the season for steak
This month’s signature steak will have you salivating at the beautiful sight. The T-Bone ‘Bistecca Fiorentina’ Dry Aged is cut from the short loin of the cow and contains a smaller section of tenderloin. Capitol Bar and Grill’s T-Bone is dry aged for a minimum of 21 Days to a maximum of 28 days. Grilled on a wood-fired grill, then served with an enticing Salsa Erbe on top, it is the perfect accompaniment to a glass of red on a cool night.
A kiss of comfort
When it comes to comfort food, the Italians sure know how to hit the nail on the head. And boy, believe us when we say we have a few treats up our sleeves ourselves.
Mac ‘n’ Cheese ‘Maccheroni con Formaggio e Tartufo’
Nothing beats the heavenly combination of pasta amongst layers of creamy cheesy goodness. Capitol Bar and Grill has thrown an indulgent twist on the classic Mac ‘n’ Cheese, combining Black Truffle, White Parsley, Reggiano, Asiago, Taleggio, Gruyere Cheese Sauce, Gratinated with Pangrattato.
Pollie’s Pie
When it comes to finding that perfect retreat from the cold, the Pollie’s Pie comes pretty close. Curl up to the nostalgic flavours of home-cooked heaven with Dry Aged Beef Braised in Barolo Wine, Tiny Champignons, Pea & Mint Mash Floater, with Wine Gravy.
Tiramisu
Finally, this sweet Italian treat is guaranteed to hit the spot, with loads of Alcohol, Espresso, and Mascarpone to keep you cosy and satisfied.
