At Hippopotamus, we set out to prove that plant-based eating can be as sumptuous and scrumptious as it is sensible. Back by popular demand for the first time since its sold-out 2020 Wellington On A Plate pop-up, Hippo presents a new plant-based twist on our time-honoured three tiers of temptation.

A forager’s feast, this wholesome high tea includes a selection of sweets and savouries showcasing the best natural and plant-based goodness humans have enjoyed from Mother Nature since the dawn of time. Designed by Executive Chef Jiwon Do, this down-to-earth high features premium New Zealand ingredients from his very own stomping ground.

$41 per person for High Tea only

$47 per person for High Tea & a glass of bubbles


This menu is vegan, suitable for vegetarian and dairy-free, but no other dietary restrictions can be accommodated.
