A Very Hippopotamus Christmas Eve
‘Twas the night before Christmas and all through Hippopotamus, skilled chefs prepared a veritable ‘feast dichotomous.’ In equal measure: fine food and fanciful wine, the table was set for an out-the-gate festive time.
When toll the Christmas bells, you’re in for a feast. At ours, slip into six courses of Kiwiana eats. Lashings of QT quirk. Tradition paired with the unorthodox. This is one melt-in-the-mouth menu for which you’ll be licking your chops.
And to drink? Only the best will do. Our cellar’s open for a select few (that’s you!) Choose by-the-glass per our Sommelier’s match, with rares and fines by way of French dispatch.
It’s the day before, but that’s no reason to abstain. ‘Tis the season to indulge, so let’s sabre that Champagne.
