Step into Capitol Bar and sip on one of our two, Feared and Revered inspired cocktails, carefully curated to embody the strength, beauty, and resilience of women. This is a mixology moment where the power of women reign supreme.

Our feared cocktail, Medusa, and our revered cocktail, Aphrodite, fight for your attention.

Medusa is a temptress of taste and desire, made with Underground Spirits’ Ad Crescendum var Flosferam Native Gin, coriander and fennel, are carefully balanced with the brightness of apple and lemon. Finished with a garnish of twisted zucchini tendrils, Medusa has a serpentine-like quality that is seriously seductive.

Aphrodite on the other hand radiates otherworldly beauty. The Underground Spirits’ Shiraz Gin boasts flavours of Tasmanian pepperberries, delivering a distinct and spicy character. The Averna Amaro is a bittersweet liqueur adding much desired depth. The beetroot juice and lemon provide a sweetness, while the cherry bitters add a touch of complexity. Served with a flash of fire, this cocktail is just as feisty as its namesake.
