QTies get ready, it’s time to Q the Smash Hit. We challenged our chefs to create a ‘smashable’ dessert and oh boy did they rise to the test.
Esther’s very own Chef Sean Connolly and his talented team have created a smashing success in dessert form. From now until the end of September, Esther will showcase a dessert that is delicate in design and made to be destroyed. It’s your taste buds’ turn to tango with this Earth-shattering creation.
Crushed Vacherin, $45, serves 2-4
A showstopper, smashed to bits tableside. Trolley theatrics ensue when you order this entertaining exhibition. We’ll start with crushing housemade meringue right at your table, then add fresh cream plus strawberry and rhubarb compote to the mix. Your choice of sweetening the deal with cognac (it’d be rude not to…), then dished out to your group of four. You’ll be crushing hard, we promise.
