Mother’s Day at Esther has been sold out

Esther is putting on a Mediterranean celebration of all mums, and everyone and their mother is welcome. Splash out with a shared family-style feast full of special surprises for the leading ladies at the table.

With three courses, this set menu delivers all the delicacies without the decision making. Start off with our famous favourites like Puff Bread, Taramasalata and Baked Saganaki, plus new delights like Salt-Roasted Beetroot with Burrata.

Then move to mains – from Te Anau Saffron Linguine, Leigh Line Caught Snapper and Coastal Spring Lamb – before dessert is served with a side of tableside theatrics. Mum first, of course. We’ve also got her first tipple sorted, with every mum clinking a glass of complimentary Sgroppino, a perfect pour of prosecco and sorbet.

This is what Chef Sean Connolly had in mind when he created Esther’s menu – homely traditions reminiscent of his mum’s mum. A great storyteller with a sense of humour and loud laugh and a zest for all things culinary, the original Esther would approve of these family festivities.
